"The Trump Administration threatening Harvard’s tax-exempt status isn’t policy—it’s punishment. A direct attack on academic freedom and a dangerous precedent for every institution that dares to push back on executive overreach." she wrote. She also mentioned the implications of significant budget cuts.

The following day, at 13:41 UTC, Trahan highlighted her engagement with business owners in her district, specifically mentioning a visit with Web Industries in Marlborough. In her tweet, she emphasized her commitment to connecting with local businesses across the spectrum, from small, family-owned operations to larger manufacturers. By coordinating with her colleagues, Trahan sought clarity from Secretary Kennedy on the rationale for closing HHS field offices. She questioned how these actions could potentially impact public health and access to care. "Beyond unacceptable. Together with my colleagues in the Massachusetts delegation, I’m demanding answers from Secretary Kennedy on how shutting down HHS field offices serves public health, improves access to care or benefits our communities."
