Lori Trahan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts' 3rd district, has been active on social media addressing various issues. Her recent tweets have touched upon disaster response, Social Security, and national security concerns.

On March 25, 2025, Trahan acknowledged the efforts of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MassEMA) in handling disasters such as the Merrimack Valley gas explosions and flooding in Fitchburg and Leominster. She stated that "When the unthinkable happens and disaster strikes — like the Merrimack Valley gas explosions or flooding in Fitchburg and Leominster — @MassEMA is there on the front lines working around the clock to save lives, protect homes and keep our communities safe."

Later that day, Trahan expressed her concerns about Social Security reforms being pursued by Donald Trump and Elon Musk. She tweeted that "Donald Trump and Elon Musk are dismantling Social Security. Republicans may be okay with that, but @HouseDemocrats are fighting back."

In another tweet posted on March 26, 2025, Trahan criticized Pete Hegseth for using a non-secure group chat to discuss military operations. She remarked that "Pete Hegseth’s use of a non-secure group chat to discuss pending military strikes wasn’t just reckless – it endangered U.S. servicemembers." Additionally, she called for President Trump to demand the resignation of the Defense Secretary due to this incident.
