On March 11, 2025, Trahan expressed concern over market fluctuations attributed to former President Trump's actions. She stated, "The stock market isn’t just numbers on a screen—it’s retirements, pensions, and livelihoods. Trump’s reckless behavior isn’t just rattling Wall Street; it’s hitting Main Street. Later that day, she critiqued Trump's policies regarding food and agriculture with the remark: "Didn’t realize taking food away from kids and business from farmers was part of Trump’s “golden age” for America."

Trahan also highlighted her commitment to supporting law enforcement through federal programs.
