Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congress member representing Massachusetts' 3rd district, has expressed her views on various political issues through a series of tweets. Trahan, who has been serving in Congress since 2019 after replacing Niki Tsongas, shared her opinions on topics ranging from economic policies to healthcare.
On March 10, 2025, Trahan criticized former President Donald Trump's approach to economic policies. She stated that "People don’t care about renaming bodies of water or taking over Greenland – they care about lowering prices." Trahan accused Trump of not fulfilling his campaign promise to reduce costs and instead engaging in actions that could potentially increase them by initiating trade wars and cutting programs.
Later the same day, Trahan addressed healthcare concerns in another tweet. She highlighted the impact of Republican policies on vulnerable groups such as children with disabilities, seniors in nursing homes, and expectant mothers. She asserted that "These are the real people that Republicans are trying to rip health care away from to pay for Elon Musk’s massive tax break."
