Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congress member representing Massachusetts' 3rd district since 2019, recently shared updates on her social media platform. Her posts reflect her engagement in regional development initiatives and community outreach efforts.

On January 31, 2025, Trahan expressed enthusiasm about a significant partnership between the University of Massachusetts Lowell Applied Research Corporation and Hanscom Air Force Base. She highlighted the collaboration's potential to enhance research and development leadership in the region, create jobs, and bolster national security. "Yesterday I was thrilled to celebrate the historic partnership between @UMassLowell Applied Research Corp. & @Hanscom_AFB! This collaboration will drive our region’s leadership in research and development, create good-paying jobs and strengthen our national security."

Later that day, Trahan invited constituents from Massachusetts' 3rd district to attend a town hall meeting scheduled for February 1st in Billerica. The event aimed to engage with residents directly. " ATTN #MA3: My Billerica Town Hall is happening TOMORROW at 10AM – I hope to see you there!"

In another post on January 31st, Trahan addressed concerns over access to essential benefits such as SNAP for groceries, rental assistance, and children's healthcare. She affirmed her commitment to protecting families in Massachusetts from losing these vital supports. "Parents woke up on Tuesday unsure whether they’d be able to access their SNAP benefits for groceries, their rental assistance, or even their children's health care.I refuse to let Massachusetts families be ripped off – full stop."
