Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Massachusetts' 3rd district, recently shared her views on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. Trahan, who has been serving in Congress since 2019 after replacing Niki Tsongas, expressed concerns about public safety and legislative measures affecting healthcare and women's rights.

On January 22, 2025, Lori Trahan commented on former President Donald Trump's pardons. She stated, "Donald Trump pardoned hundreds of convicted felons who beat up, tazed, and maced police officers. Our communities are less safe with these violent people on our streets."

Later that day, Trahan highlighted her efforts to reduce healthcare costs for seniors. She noted that she voted to limit out-of-pocket drug expenses for Medicare beneficiaries. In her words from January 22, 2025: "I voted to cap out-of-pocket drug costs for seniors on Medicare at $2,000. Now seniors are going to save hundreds or even thousands of dollars every year!"

On January 23, 2025, Trahan addressed a bill proposed by House Republicans concerning women's reproductive rights. She criticized the measure and declared her opposition: "This week, House Republicans are forcing a vote on a bill that will give politicians in Washington the power to monitor women’s pregnancies and criminalize doctors and nurses who provide lifesaving care to women in need. I'm voting no."
