Wilmington Public Schools District: 93.1% of students graduated in 2022-23 school year

Wilmington Public Schools District had a 93.1% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 0.4% lower than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 189 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 200 the year before.

Wilmington Public Schools District had the 83rd highest graduation rate in the state.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
