Current and former Harvard students Liam Corrigan ('19), Clark Dean ('22), Mike DiSanto ('12), Conor Harrity ('18), Andrew Reed ('14) and Alexander Richards '18 are among the six men's heavyweight rowers who traveled last month to Oakland, California, for the start of the U.S. Rowing Olympic Selection Camp, according to the university's sports information department.

A total of 20 rowers were invited to this year’s camp. The coaches at the Selection Development Camp will work with athletes who have remaining eligibility for future under-19 national teams after 2021 and will compete for the camp at the U.S. Rowing National Championships in July.

The U.S. is putting together its team after finishing fifth in both the four- and eight-man qualifiers at the 2019 World Rowing Championships, earning a place in the Tokyo region. By June 6, the Olympic team will have been chosen.

Bolles-Parker Harvard Men's Heavyweight Crew Head Coach Charley Butt begins his 36th season with the Harvard rowing program this season.
