Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Massachusetts' 3rd district since 2019, has been actively engaging with her constituents and addressing various legislative issues through social media. On March 13, 2025, she shared several tweets on topics ranging from local town halls to national political matters.

In a tweet posted on March 13, 2025, at 17:55 UTC, Trahan announced her plans to host a town hall meeting in Methuen on March 20th. She criticized her Republican colleagues for allegedly avoiding their constituents and invited Massachusetts families to discuss their concerns and priorities. "Instead of hiding from constituents like my Republican colleagues have been instructed to do, I'm hosting another town hall to hear directly from Massachusetts families about your concerns and priorities."

Later that day at 19:31 UTC, Trahan highlighted her legislative efforts regarding consumer rights by introducing the TLDR Act alongside Senators Ben Ray Luján and Bill Cassidy. The act aims to address issues related to blanket terms-of-service agreements that limit consumer choice. "For too long, blanket terms-of-service agreements have forced people to either ‘agree’ to all of a company’s conditions or lose access entirely."

In another tweet posted at 20:55 UTC on the same day, Trahan commented on the political situation involving Donald Trump and the Republican Party's control over key branches of government. She accused them of using their power to initiate a government shutdown. "Donald Trump and Republicans have control of the White House, Senate and House... They’re using it to shut down the government."
