Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congress member representing Massachusetts’ 3rd district, has been actively engaging with her constituents and addressing various issues through social media. In recent posts, she highlighted important topics such as women's sports, local community services, and public safety improvements.

On February 5, 2025, Trahan emphasized the contributions of the Women's Sports Foundation (WSF) in empowering girls in sports since its founding by Billie Jean King in 1974. She expressed her appreciation for meeting with softball player Rachel Garcia and the WSF team to discuss threats to women’s sports, particularly those affecting Title IX. "Founded in 1974 by Billie Jean King, @WomensSportsFdn has led the way in empowering girls in sports to reach their potential."

The following day on February 6, Trahan notified residents of Massachusetts’ 3rd district about weather-related closures affecting local government operations. She informed that Acton Town Hall would be closed due to inclement weather and announced the rescheduling of regional office hours to March at Marlborough Senior Center. "ATTN #MA3: Due to inclement weather, Acton Town Hall is closed today and our regional office hours have been canceled."

Later that day on February 6, Trahan announced securing federal funding for upgrading emergency vehicles at Lowell Fire Department. The funding will provide new engine and ladder trucks to ensure firefighters have access to top-notch equipment while serving their community. "Proud to secure the federal funding necessary to upgrade the Lowell Fire Department's fleet of emergency vehicles."
