I introduced the FTC Whistleblower Act to give them the protection they deserve."
The following day, on December 13, 2024, she commemorated the anniversary of the Respect for Marriage Act by reflecting on her vote for its passage. She expressed: "Two years ago, the #RespectForMarriageAct was signed into law! I voted to send this long overdue legislation to the President’s desk because I believe in protecting the freedoms and dignity of ALL Americans."
Later that same day, Trahan underscored her commitment to community safety by securing essential resources for law enforcement. She noted: "One of the most important parts of my job is securing critical resources to strengthen our communities. Proud to support our law enforcement by delivering new safety equipment and resources!"
