On November 25, 2024, Trahan noted her legislative efforts with the Accelerating Kids Access to Care Act. She stated: "Last year, I introduced the Accelerating Kids Access to Care Act to expand access to health care for children battling rare diseases. The House passed this bipartisan legislation in September." She urged further action from the Senate.
Later that day, she addressed economic issues affecting working families: "There’s no question — working families are struggling with the high price of groceries, housing and childcare. Democrats and Republicans have to be able to come together to tackle the issues that everyday Americans are facing."
