UMass Lowell men’s lacrosse lost to Queens University of Charlotte in a defensive match ending 8-5. Head Coach Drew Kelleher praised his team’s defense but noted struggles on offense. The River Hawks will open conference play against Binghamton next.
UMass Lowell softball edged out George Washington in an extra-inning battle, winning 3–2 after scoring three runs in the eighth inning. Strong pitching performances from Giana LaCedra and Olivia DeCitise helped secure the victory.
UMass Lowell men’s basketball will face top-seeded UMBC in the America East semifinals on March 10 after advancing past UAlbany with a comeback win led by Angel Montas Jr.’s standout performance. The River Hawks seek their third championship appearance in four years.
