Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congress member representing Massachusetts' 3rd district since 2019, has been vocal on social media about economic and healthcare issues affecting her constituents. Through a series of tweets, she addresses concerns ranging from food prices to healthcare reliance in Massachusetts.

On February 18, 2025, Trahan highlighted an unfulfilled promise by Donald Trump regarding food prices. She stated that "Donald Trump promised to bring down egg and bacon prices on day one. Nearly a month in, prices keep rising."

Later the same day, Trahan expressed concern over proposed cuts to federal food assistance programs. She noted that "One in seven Massachusetts residents rely on federal food assistance programs to keep their families fed. When Donald Trump pushes to cut these programs to fund tax breaks for his billionaire donors, it’s the most vulnerable in our communities who pay the price."

On February 19, 2025, Trahan addressed healthcare dependency statistics within Massachusetts. She tweeted that "1 in 3... depend on @MassHealth for health care," "1 in 2... rely on the Children’s Health Insurance Program," and "2 in 3... individuals from..." emphasizing widespread reliance on public health programs.
