All are welcome to the July 15 unveiling of Black Joy, a new public art sculpture in downtown Lowell.
Join us for a ceremonial planting, special remarks, live music, and complementary food from Benny's Backyard BBQ. This is a celebration of achievement of the whole community, and we hope to see you there!
The event will be at the location of the sculpture, the parking lot at the corner of Gorham Street and Appleton Street.
The unveiling is a joint event from the City of Lowell and DIY Lowell. We thank our funders: New England Foundation for the Arts, Lowell Cultural Council/Mass Cultural Council, Mosaic Lowell, and the DIY Lowell general fund.
