20th Anniversary of the Concord Visitor Center

Evolving from a tiny roadside stand with no running water and no facilities to a modern, multi-faceted information center, the Concord Visitor Center located at 58 Main Street in historic Concord Center is celebrating its 20th anniversary in its current location. Since beginning its operations, the Concord Visitor Center has welcomed more than 10,000 visitors each year, providing services to thousands of people over its tenure. To commemorate this milestone anniversary, celebrate its contributions to local tourism, and plan for the future of providing visitor services, the Concord Visitor Center will host a special “20th Birthday Celebration” on Thursday, September 15th at 12:30 p.m. with a ribbon cutting and cake. The event is free and open to the public.

September 12th also marks the Town of Concord’s 387th birthday. The Concord Visitor Center will commemorate the event with 1 p.m. daily history tours during the week of September 12th-17th, free to all Concord residents with proof of residency.
