On Saturday, March 1, former Lowell High School standout Giana LaCedra’s current college team, the UMass-Lowell River Hawks, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Hampton Lady Pirates.

The game took place at Lady Pirates Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lady Pirates this season.

The River Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Lady Pirates Softball Stadium against Hampton Lady Pirates.
