On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Lawrence Academy standout Brian Downing’s current college team, the Merrimack Warriors, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Winthrop Eagles.
The game took place at Winthrop Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. at Bill Beck Field against Rhode Island Rams.
