Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congresswoman for Massachusetts’ 3rd district since 2019, has been actively engaging with her audience on social media, sharing reflections on historical events and well-wishes for current celebrations. Trahan, who replaced Niki Tsongas and previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, often uses her platform to engage politically and personally with her constituents.

In a post from April 19, 2025, Trahan reaffirmed the often-overlooked contributions of women during significant historical events. Reflecting on the centennial of the American Revolution in 1875, she stated, “When our nation commemorated the centennial of the Revolution back in 1875, women were denied a seat at the table, and their contributions in the lead-up to and during the battles of Concord and Lexington were dismissed, if not outright ignored. It was Louisa May Alcott…”

On April 20, 2025, Trahan extended Easter greetings to those celebrating. She expressed her wishes for reflection and renewal, writing, “Wishing a happy Easter to all those celebrating today! A time to reflect, rejoice, and embrace the promise of new beginnings. May this day bring light to your heart and joy to those around you.”

The following day, on April 21, 2025, Trahan posted a tweet without accompanying commentary, which can be viewed here.

Lori Trahan, 49, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, currently resides in Westford. She graduated from Georgetown University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science.
