Lori Trahan, U.S. Congresswoman representing Massachusetts’ 3rd district since 2019, posted a series of messages on December 10 and 11, 2025, highlighting her legislative efforts and calls for accountability in recent events.
On December 10, Trahan wrote, “Families deserve clear, accessible information when making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. That’s why I introduced the bipartisan Student Financial Clarity Act – so every student considering college knows what they are paying for and what they can expect”. In a subsequent post on the same day, she shared a link: “https://t.co/JkSBfOdLQZ”.
On December 11, Trahan addressed concerns regarding the treatment of servicemembers and military families. She stated, “This story continues to get more and more disturbing. That’s why I led 50+ members of Congress in demanding accountability for the servicemembers and military wives forced to endure such a horrifying experience.”
Trahan has served in Congress since succeeding Niki Tsongas in 2019. Before her tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, she was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1973 and currently residing in Westford, Trahan graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995.
