On April 10, 2026, Trahan posted: “Trump keeps trying to go after Massachusetts. We keep beating him.” On April 11, she highlighted infrastructure progress with the message: “Another big step forward on the Rourke Bridge! This week, work began on the river, with crews building the foundation that will support the new bridge. It’s great to see progress on this long awaited project.” The following day, Trahan described her participation in a local housing initiative: “Proud to join Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell, YouthBuild and generous volunteers and donors yesterday for the Drew Farmhouse Barn fundraiser. Two new affordable homes. A historic barn preserved. And a community coming together to make it happen!”

Before joining Congress, she served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995.
