Lori Trahan, currently serving in the U.S. Congress and representing Massachusetts’ 3rd Congressional district, made several notable engagements as detailed in her recent tweets.

On April 14, 2025, she highlighted the importance of providing adequate resources to first responders. Trahan stated, “Ensuring that our first responders have access to the facilities and resources they need to keep our communities safe is essential.” She noted her visit to Berlin’s Town Hall & Public Safety Building, which is undergoing renovations due to federal funding she helped secure.

On April 15, 2025, Trahan criticized her Republican colleagues by addressing their approach to public engagement, emphasizing her commitment to constituent interactions. In her post, she remarked, “While Republicans continue to hide from the folks they represent by refusing to host town halls, I firmly believe that listening to your concerns and taking your priorities with me to Washington is the most important part of my job as your representative.”

Later the same day, Trahan expressed enthusiasm for engaging with local students involved in technological development. She shared, “Last week, I was thrilled to welcome Chelmsford High School students Obinna and Wilson – the #MA3 winners of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge – to Capitol Hill! Their app ‘Ecosense’ teaches users about their community’s water quality levels and local ecosystems.”

Trahan, a graduate of Georgetown University, has represented Massachusetts’s 3rd District in Congress since 2019. Prior to this role, she served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
