On March 11, 2025, Trahan expressed concern over market fluctuations attributed to former President Trump’s actions. She stated, “The stock market isn’t just numbers on a screen—it’s retirements, pensions, and livelihoods. Trump’s reckless behavior isn’t just rattling Wall Street; it’s hitting Main Street. Retirees, soon-to-be retirees, and pensioners are feeling the pain of market instability driven by his…”

Later that day, she critiqued Trump’s policies regarding food and agriculture with the remark: “Didn’t realize taking food away from kids and business from farmers was part of Trump’s “golden age” for America.”

Trahan also highlighted her commitment to supporting law enforcement through federal programs. On March 11th she tweeted about her meeting with Haverhill Police officials during their visit to Washington: “Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with @HaverhillPolice Chief Pistone, Sergeant Howell and Detective Scharneck during their visit to Washington.
