Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Massachusetts’ 3rd District since 2019, recently shared her views on social media regarding various political issues. Known for her active engagement in public discourse, Trahan has addressed topics ranging from veterans’ welfare to Medicaid.

On March 19, 2025, Trahan expressed criticism of former President Donald Trump. She stated that “Donald Trump didn’t think twice before betraying the men and women who served our country to pay for a tax cut for his billionaire donors.”

In another post on the same day, she highlighted a comment by Massachusetts veteran Eric Wasileski regarding military care. Trahan quoted Wasileski: “It’s not waste, fraud, and abuse when you’re taking care of soldiers, sailors, and airmen who were deployed overseas.”

The following day, March 20, 2025, Trahan addressed the potential impact of Republican policies on Medicaid recipients. She remarked that “1 in 3 children. 1 in 2 adults with disabilities. 1 in 3 postpartum mothers… Make no mistake, when Republicans in Washington go after Medicaid, these are people in our communities they’re going after.”
