Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Massachusetts’ 3rd district, shared her views on various political issues through a series of tweets on March 6, 2025. Her statements addressed concerns about foreign policy, domestic manufacturing legislation, and veterans’ affairs.

In her first tweet from that day, Trahan criticized former President Trump’s approach to international relations. She stated: “Threatening to take over Greenland is insanity – and it’s the last thing President Trump should be focused on right now as costs continue to rise and tariffs on our largest trading partners rock financial markets.” This post highlights her concern over economic instability and diplomatic strategies.

Later in the day, Trahan discussed legislative matters regarding national security and employment. She praised the bipartisan efforts behind the CHIPS Act, saying: “The CHIPS Act was a bipartisan win. Democrats and Republicans came together to strengthen our national security and bring good-paying manufacturing jobs back to America.” She expressed opposition to calls for repealing this legislation by describing such actions as “an unnecessary and harmful disruption to domestic suppliers.”

In another statement concerning veterans’ welfare, Trahan commented on administrative decisions affecting the Department of Veterans Affairs workforce. She tweeted: “Our veterans have sacrificed so much to defend the freedoms and values we hold dear, and they deserve nothing less than the highest quality care and support in return.” She criticized plans by the Trump Administration that aimed at reducing VA personnel.
