Lori Trahan, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Massachusetts’ 3rd district since 2019, has been vocal on various issues through her social media platform. Her recent tweets address concerns over child care costs, data privacy, and potential governmental corruption.

On June 5, 2025, Trahan emphasized the need for lower prices for parents in her tweet: “Lower prices. That’s what parents want.” She criticized the closure of child care facilities, trade wars that increase costs on essential items like strollers and car seats, and budget proposals that could negatively impact health care for mothers and children.

Later that day, Trahan commented on a significant issue involving former President Donald Trump and data privacy. She stated: “Breaking news: Donald Trump is using Palantir…” The tweet highlighted concerns about Palantir’s use of sensitive data allegedly stolen from federal agencies without adequate safeguards.

On June 6, 2025, Trahan addressed potential financial misconduct related to rental payments connected to Trump’s associates. She wrote: “Imagine struggling to pay rent while your tax dollars help Trump’s golf buddies rake in $13.3 million…” The tweet pointed out discrepancies in rental charges compared to Trump’s first term and labeled it as visible corruption.

Lori Trahan was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1973 and currently resides in Westford. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.
