Lori Trahan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts’ 3rd district, shared her thoughts on recent events through social media posts. Trahan, who has served in Congress since 2019 and previously held a position in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, voiced her opinions on both sports broadcasting and healthcare management.

On March 19, 2025, Trahan expressed enthusiasm for an all-female telecast covering a Boston Celtics game. She remarked on Twitter: “Thrilled to see this tradition continue — if you missed it, @NBCSBoston’s all-female telecast covered last night’s @celtics game and delivered a phenomenal play-by-play analysis.”

Later that day, Trahan criticized the actions of Steward Health Care executives regarding their management practices. She tweeted: “It’s despicable that while Steward executives like Ralph de la Torre were throwing lavish parties on their multi-million dollar yachts, they were purposely running the hospitals they abandoned into the ground.” She further noted the extensive damage left behind in Nashoba Valley.
