On March 5, 2025, Trahan emphasized the importance of including women athletes in discussions about fair standards for Name, Image, Likeness (NIL), revenue-sharing, or employment rights. She warned that without their involvement, there is a risk of reversing recent advancements: “If we’re serious about establishing fair standards for women athletes on NIL, revenue-sharing, or athletes’ employment rights, then women athletes need to be at the center of these conversations. On March 6, 2025, Trahan announced her final office hours for March at the Marlborough Senior Center from 10 am to 2 pm. Later that day on March 6th, Trahan reaffirmed her commitment to supporting young people by securing federal funding for Boys and Girls Clubs.
