On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Lexington High School standout Gabe Van Emon’s current college team, the UConn Huskies, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida Atlantic Owls.
The game took place at FAU Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Owls this season.
The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Dedeaux Field against USC Trojans.
